My love of photography started when I was a little girl. I developed a curiosity of taking photographs and was fascinated by my father's camera. This led me to creep downstairs one Christmas day morning and use my father's camera without him knowing. I then took the opportunity to snap a photograph of my Aunty in her dressing gown. This was my first ever photograph, brought on by being a very cheeky six year old.
When I was older and using my late father's camera, I went to Manchester University to study photography and gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography and Imaging.
As my passion for photography grew, I also obtained the NCTJ certificate at Sheffield Norton College. This led me to work for seven years as a Press Photographer for the Yorkshire Post.
Having been a professional photographer for over 10 years, my approach is always friendly and relaxed. I create simple and honest photographs showing the true joy and emotion in either my portraits or weddings.
Even though I am based in Essex, I am happy to travel anywhere to photograph a wedding.
